The mission of public media is to serve the public with intelligent programming not available elsewhere and to provide quality local programming for the communities we serve. The mission is supported by people engaged with their local public television station who are willing to contribute to its success.

Background & Experience

P3 Public Media based in Lincoln, Nebraska, is headed by Steve Graziano.

Steve’s experience in broadcast media includes 20 years at Nebraska’s NET where he led the Promotion, Research, Traffic and Television Programming departments. As Chief Operating Officer for Louisiana Public Broadcasting, he managed the day-to-day activities for Louisiana’s only statewide media entity.

Steve has served on several national boards and committees including:

  • PBS Communications Advisory Council
  • Corporation for Public Broadcasting Station Activities Benchmarking Study Committee
  • PBS Digital Learning Library Steering Committee Member
  • NETA Communications Council Executive Member

In addition, P3 Public Media relies on a team of professional programmers, researchers, and writers to assist stations with all aspects of programming, promotion and pledge.
